Wax museum

We were thinking about taking a tour of the Musee Conti Wax Museum and would like to know is it worth it? How long would it take to tour the museum? Thanks.

jiffer, I was in the museum a few years ago, and it was very interesting. However, according to their website, they are closed to the public now (post-Katrina), and only open for private receptions. It annoys me that they can%26#39;t be open to the general public, even if only a couple of afternoons per week.

It might not indicate on their website that they care closed to the public, but when you call their phone number, you get a recorded message stating that they are only open for private parties.

Wax Museum gone, Ripleys Believe It or Not gone, and Odessey gone. Of the three I miss the Odessey.
