What do you think is the best way for two people to get from the airport (MSY) to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel? If you know the cost please post it. Thanks!!

I%26#39;ve always used the Airport Shuttle. It%26#39;s $26plus gratuity round trip and you can reserve online, if you wish. Some have mentioned they didn%26#39;t care for the shuttle because you had to wait for others to be dropped at their hotel, but I%26#39;ve never found that very tedious or time consuming, and you might even be at the first hotel on their list. I also find it nice knowing what time I%26#39;ll be picked up for my return trip to the airport.

The reasons I don%26#39;t like the shuttle are the one reason mentioned and the pick up time. I like getting straight to my hotel from the airport and not having to stop a few times. I also don%26#39;t like waiting at the airport forever before my flight home. It has never taken me too long to get to the airport but the shuttle times always seemed to make you leave VERY early which I didn%26#39;t like. My personal opinion, cab is worth the extra money.

I also can%26#39;t figure out why people use the shuttle, either. If you%26#39;re solo, maybe the cost difference is worth it. For two people, a cab is three bucks more. Three bucks. And you go nonstop. And you don%26#39;t have to get picked up 3 hours before your return flight. And so on...
